Samantha Vacca is a Drawing major at The Cleveland Institute of Art, with an expected graduation date of May 2026. Using representational depiction of iconic sports moments her work celebrates athletics and explores injury, victory, ego and ritual within the big exciting world of sports.Vacca's work has been exhibited at the Valley Arts Center in Chagrin Falls, Ohio as well as in several exhibitions at the Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland Ohio. Earlier this year Vacca led a fundraising project for Lauras Home Women's Crisis Center at SPACES Gallery. Her honors include the 2022 Outstanding Senior Scholar for Art Award, and The Arts in Strongsville Scholarship. She currently resides in Cleveland Ohio.
